The Ombudsman is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information safely.
We want to make sure we are being responsive and inclusive of everyone. To help us do this, we collect and look at information such as people’s age, gender, ethnicity, iwi or hapū affiliation, and disability.
We use this information to understand and report on who is using our services and to help identify areas for systemic improvement.
You will not be named or identified in any reporting we do. We will only share the details of your personal information with others if you give us permission.
You can choose not to answer any question if you do not want to. This will not affect our consideration of your matter.
