Next round of LGOIMA practice investigations underway

Issue date:

Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier has commenced another round of self-initiated investigations into the official information practices of selected councils.

The first two councils in this round are Buller District Council and Invercargill City Council, and the Chief Ombudsman has set up a survey for people who've recently requested information held by either council.

Provide your feedback

Have you made a request to the Buller District or Invercargill City Councils under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act in the last 12 months? Or attended a public meeting at either council?

If so, we want to know how it went. Please fill in the surveys below by 20 December 2019.
