In this speech the Chief Ombudsman discusses the role of the Ombudsman in considering complaints about maladministration by local authorities and state sector agencies, decisions on accessing official information, and the conduct requirements of local authority meetings. She sets out the limits of the Ombudsman's jurisdiction, provides tips on how and when to complain to the Ombudsman and promotes the idea that "It's OK to complain".
